  Cabin 12, Grand Pines Resort and Powell's made our 3 generation family week together unbelievably fun! This was our second time. We loved the pontoon, cabinside campfire, sunsets & screen porch so much. The 3 large bedrooms were ideal for us as was all the room for us on the main level for the 10 of us including 4 grandkids to play. The Friday fish fry was delicious. The cabin yard allowed us to enjoy lots of activities. Fishing & jumping off the dock, & swimming dock side was a ton of fun for all of us. I know we will be back for a third time in 2025! Thanks for the memories Grand Pines!

  We'd reserved a 2-bedroom cabin for a 3-night stay. Due to an apparent internal communication mixup, one of the bedrooms had not been cleaned when we arrived that afternoon. We called the manager and he showed up within a matter of minutes. The manager was genuinely dismayed and quickly upgraded us to Cabin 12. The rest of the stay couldn't have gone more smoothly, despite rain the second and third days of our time at the lake. Our friends took the main floor bedroom and bath, while we took the lakeview upstairs room. Plenty of space both there and throughout the remainder of the main floor, which featured a cozy living room and dining booth. The kitchen was nicely appointed, as well. Although the weather didn't lend itself to using it, the lakeside screened porch was very inviting. The pontoon was in good condition and easy to operate. While we didn't do any heavy fishing, we enjoyed catching some small ones and one 17" smallmouth in the bay off the cabin. Round Lake is a very manageable and pretty lake, relatively easy for novices to navigate. Plenty of fun dining spots in the area, including The Angry Minnow brewery & restaurant, The Ranch supper club, Old Southern BBQ, and Props Landing (walleye tacos!). For a great breakfast, check out The Robin's Nest. If you travel through Spooner on the way to/from Grand Pines, be sure to stop at the bakery and stock up. This was our second stay at Grand Pines Resort and we will happily return in the future.

  Beautiful! We loved cabin number 12! We utilize the boat which is very nice. Walking distance to the new amazing Bar props! The only feedback I would give is that it smelt a little wet/moist in the upstairs of the cabin. Always a good time at Grand Pines. Thank you!

  As always a wonderful, relaxing time. Disappointed the pantry is no longer available. We really rely on that space to stash all the food etc we bring with. Hate to have to keep food in the bedroom! Missed being able to use the fireplace too. New gas fireplace that was wasn't functioning.
  Staff as always are wonderful! Thank you Burton! for your attention to the issues that came up. (fireplace and the outside lights not working). The new restaurant has good food but the atmosphere is cold and unwelcoming. DJ's Dock is always our favorite place to eat and enjoy a beverage. Love those folks!
