  Loved our cabin and the pontoon boat that went with it. Cabin was very clean and very well maintained! Need longer dock lines for landing the boat!
  Also would have been nice to know the exact location of the cabin- we pretty much had a view of the parking lot for the bar/restaurant next door. Did appreciate that it was within walking distance to the bar/restaurant next door! Would stay at Grand Pines again- next time we would book the fishing guide for our first day to figure out the lake and look for a cabin with a lakefront view or wooded view!

  Thank you Grand Pines team. We rented two cabins for a family get together and had a wonderful time. One cabin was on little round and one cabin was on the big round. With a pontoon boats we got to experience the Uniques of both lake. Both cabins were beautiful with Northwoods decor.   Our family loved staying in kitschy cabin 11! The rooms were clean, comfortable and loaded with fun, old-timey decor. The pontoon, bonfire pit with chairs, and onsite restaurant with outdoor games made for a truly relaxing summer holiday. We even rented paddle boards for a day, which was a big hit with our college-aged kids. We will be back!

  We had a wonderful time at Grand Pines on big Round Lake. This was our second time staying at the resort. The location is very convenient to many amenities and a short drive from Hayward. The cabin is well equipped and nicely decorated. Furniture could use some updating as the bed mattresses were not very comfortable. Overall a great stay. It is a bonus to be able to walk to Powell's Lakeside Restaurant and Bar and enjoy the view on the outdoor patio. Check in and checkout is very smooth. We invited family up for a stay and everyone had a very enjoyable stay. Having a nice pontoon included is a huge bonus. I would highly recommend Grand Pines.

  Staying at Grand Pines is always pleasant. We have stayed at many different cabins on the property and have enjoyed each one. Cabin 11 was a wonderful experience. It isn't lake front but we could see the lake out the front windows. We always enjoy the unique decorations and layout of each cabin. We walked to dinner at Powell's and enjoyed trying the new menu items. The use of the pontoon boat is always a fun activity for fishing and just riding around the lake. We visit Grand Pines yearly and look forward to staying in a cabin and exploring Hayward.

  We had an opportunity to getaway for a 4-day weekend so decided to head up to Hayward. First time renting at Grand Pines. The cabin itself is lovely and very comfortable. It's cozy for sure, but has everything you need. What I wasn't aware of is that it's not "on the lake", it's on the other side of the restaurant parking lot. I may have just missed that, not sure. But only a couple of minute walk, and it's more private since it's away from other cabins. The pontoon is definitely on the old side, but got us around the lake just fine. The management team, and the young man who helped us with the pontoon were excellent. I worked with Mandy and she was super responsive and helpful. The restaurant is nice too. Very busy, but food was really good. Beautiful area and we had a great time renting this cabin.

  We had a great stay at Grand Pines. We had a group of 7, couples and singles so the sleeping arrangements in cabin 11 was not perfect. The cabin itself was super clean, loved the decor and very comfortable. We loved the lake, the pontoon, and the back yard for games! It's close to Hayward, which was a big plus for us. Ideally a group of 4 or 5 would have been better for comfort level in the cabin. I felt for the price we were pretty cramped compared to other spots we have stayed.
