The cabin features three queen beds and a sofa sleeper on each level, comfortably sleeping up to 10 guests.   Have stayed at this resort several times. First stay in this cabin. Enjoyed it very much. Do have two critiques. Beds (especially upstairs bedroom) were terrible. Very hard to sleep. Get a few Casper mattresses cheap and easy to fix. They get delivered in a box. No, I don’t work for them or own stock it’s what I have at home:). Pontoon only went 18mph. Not that big a deal with pontoon but beds would stop me from renting again. Mostly that upstairs bedroom

  This was our second visit to the resort. Had a family get away. Close to Hayward. Quiet overall. Having the pontoon included was an extra. Views were awesome. Only concerns were there was no way to start the campfire with the wood left. Air mattress had a hole in it.

  We recently vacationed with Grand Pines Resort. We stayed in cabin 28 and it was all we wanted plus more! The cabin was spacious and clean and right on the lake. A pontoon was included with our cabin which we used many times. We were located near a convenience store and great bar and grills. When we needed help with something Mandi was just a phone call away and always responsive. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend!

  Upstairs shower needs deep cleaning black mold in corners. Mattresses are soft need replacing. Upstairs hide a bed broken had to use air mattress for 4 people to sleep. Location was great for family fun. Good fishing off pier, sandy bottom for swimming.

  Size was great for sleeping 7 and an infant. Cabin was very well used and needs some improvements, ie: shower upstairs replaced, pull out couches replaced- 1 broken, 1 mattress broken down. Pontoon very well used-ripped seats and carpet.wonderful lake to be on but would not choose this cabin again. Local restaurants were great, easy access to area attractions, fishing and water activities great!

  Great location the cabin does need some TLC, reported items at checkout hopefully by next year it will be addressed. Bathroom main floor sink leaking under cabinet got all toilet paper and supplies soaked and upstairs shower leaked onto bathroom floor ALOT hide a bed upstairs completely unusable and hazardous office said there should be a blow up mattress but there wasn't

  The cabin was exactly like it was described in the brochure. We loved the location and the weather was perfect. We had a few small snags though. Our garbage was one of those that were in the cabinet types and we had gnats the entire time we were there when we opened the cabinet door. We found some food in the cabinet that must have fallen out of the garbage. Also we had a handful of electrical devices that were loose. There were two switches and a few outlets that were incredibly loose. As a retired electrician it would take 15 minutes to fix these issues. On the plus side we had a pontoon boat that fit under neath the bridge and were able to get on Big Round, and try our luck fishing. One more thing was when we went to use the extra bed the frame underneath was broke. We immediately contacted Grand Pines about the issue. They seemed like they already knew and told us to use it, which we did as we had four families. Overall a good experience, just slightly disappointed as we went at prime time of the season and paid top dollar.

  Cabin 28 is beautifully decorated and very spacious. Cabin 31 is not. The carpet in 31 is filthy and needs to be replaced. The furnishings are sub-standard and this cabin was not worth the money. I would have complained in person but the office was not open when we checked out on Sunday. Completely different experience depending on what cabin you were staying in.

  Stayed in Cabin 28 the second week in June. The whole family (including 6 young children) were able to come. We spent the week fishing, swimming, and exploring Hayward. The Monday Flea Market is a favorite of ours. This is the first year we have all stayed in a cabin. The location was great and we all had fun. The pontoon that comes with the cabin worked well for the kids. They also caught panfish from the dock. We hope to be able to make the trip again next year.
