  This was our second summer staying in Cabin 30 and we plan to return next year. The cabin is small but efficient with complete kitchen and full sized appliances. The property was clean and spotless and we have no complaints about the management. The view of Little Round Lake is stunning and can be seen from almost every window in the cabin. We loved having a private dock with a pontoon boat to use during our stay.

  Cabin 30 is small but cozy and spotless! It’s the perfect size for 2 people. We walked in and immediately felt at home and the view of Little Round Lake was spectacular. The only thing that was a little annoying were the recliners but we didn’t spend much time in them anyway. A major perk was unlimited use of our own pontoon boat.   What a wonderful cabin "vacation" for me and my fiancé. The only issue was there wasn't a "love seat" in the "living room", but rather 2 "lazy boy" type chairs which were almost impossible to fold back up once they were opened into a full recline position. I suggest those chairs be replaced with a love seat or 2 lazy boy chairs that operate smoothly.

  The cabin is delightful in most ways. It is very cozy with plenty of room for 2. The outside deck space is big with table and benches. An umbrella for the table would have given us an additional option to be outdoors when sun overhead. We were glad we brought some extra beach towels and hand towels as we used them to cover the 2 reclining chairs in the cabin. They are very grungy and in poor working condition. Once in the chairs, we had to climb out over the foot rest when up and then use our feet to put the rest in downward position. Of course being out of the cabin most of the time, the chairs were a minor but uncomfortable part of an otherwise lovely atmosphere. In regards to the fishing in little round lake, it was amazing. Small mouth bass, perch, sun fish, crappies and blue gills galore!! Nature did not disappoint either. Eagles, loons, Canadian geese, ducks and even river otters.

  Once again we stayed in Cabind 30 for the July 4th Week. The cabin is so nice and the deck overlooks a small beach and the lake.
  the kitchen is small but you can cook a meal on the stove and enjoy outside. We also used the grill and fire pit in the evenings. Grand Pines staff is great to work with and our family so enjoyed the stay. I would recommend them.

  I would say this cabin is in a perfect location, just steps from the lake and beach. This could be a 5 star rental with a little TLC. The things that were broken I had read were broken back in a 2017 review, example, two recliners that would not open and close and had damaged the wood floors underneath, blinds that were tied open because they were broken, screen door latch broken that allowed the door to the screen porch to remain open and let all the bugs in. Also, many of the window screens are coming out of the frames so we could not open those windows, although the windows are very updated and did come with a pontoon boat that tan great and we had fun using it to fish and cruise the lake, however it did not have any workable gauges so it was a guessing game for gas, speed and lake depth.
  There was a grounds manager named Mike and he was great, he got the boat ready, fixed the door latch when we called and even shipped back a coat we left on a kitchen chair. It was clean and you are required to strip your bedding and put it all in a bag for housekeeping, failure to do so will get you a $50 fine.

  As first time guests of Grand Pines, my wife and I were very pleased. A cute cabin with all the comforts of home and a great pontoon boat right out our front door. You will be staying on Little Round Lake but have access to Big Round through a channel between the two. You will have to go under a very low bridge to access Big Round which could be very scary for novice boat drivers. The only negative we found with the place was the mattress in the cabin was noisy and just plain wore out. We would not stay there again if we knew it had not been replaced.

  Wonderful cabin for two. We were the only cabin in use at the time so was very quiet and nice getaway during pandemic. Outdoor deck and screened in porch along with pontoon wonderful, however weather wasn't great so we didn't get to use as much as we had hoped. Cabin was well appointed. Bed comfortable. As others have mentioned the two recliner chairs have seen better days. The bathroom sink drain needs to be taken apart and cleaned (beyond Draino)as it didn't drain. All in all we did enjoy.

  This is our third summer at Grand Pines, and our second in Cabin 30. This small cabin is perfect for two people, and nicely appointed. The cabin has two recliners, neither of which works very well, and seem a bit grungy. That's our only complaint. The pontoon is new and terrific. Since the size of the pontoon prevents access to the big lake, it would be nice if the resort provided some fishing maps for Little Round Lake.

  Was a nice vacation with family nearby. Our adult children and grandchildren stayed at the motel near our cabin. We gathered together at the cabin for meals, boating, swimming and bonfires. All had their own "space" while we had plenty of time together. Perfect!

  The cabin was great and having a pontoon and being able to fish on a beautiful lake was a wonderful time.VRBO does not get a good grade although because of not letting us know where to pick up keys and telling us to get an alert on our phone which never happened. They also sold us insurance for breakage but owners knew nothing about either of these things.

  This cabin was beautiful,super clean and had the best view of the lake ever! The bed was comfortable and the cabin was cozy and relaxing. The office where you check in is also a little store where you can buy fishing tackle, sweatshirts, rustic decor etc. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We fished, shopped and explored the area. For breakfast we would recommend The Robbins Nest or The Farmstead Creamery and Cafe. For dinner, the Steakhouse in Hayward was fantastic. The whole vacation was perfect. We will be back again!

  This setting and the cabin were more than expected when making the reservation. The weather on our only full day was not ideal, but we made the most of it with biking, seeing the town. the desk help was excellent. I could not figure out the whirlpool in the tub, but enjoyed a leisurely all around stay otherwise perfect. The wildlife walk was interesting but seemed may have been helpful to know about the logging championships in town ahead of time to arrive perhaps a little earlier on day 1.
