Room 43

Grand Pines Motel includes ten motel rooms, located on Little Round Lake near Hayward, Wisconsin. These newly-remodeled motel rooms are the perfect lodging for everything from romantic getaways to outdoor escapes. Each of our comfortable, Northwood’s inspired rooms include two queen beds, a flat screen TV, a small refrigerator, microwave, a wet sink, a coffee maker, private deck off back, central air and whirlpool jets in the tub. Amenities

One bath with whirlpool jets, mini refrigerator, coffee maker, cable TV, coffee packs (one regular and one decaf, makes 4-cup pot), coffee filters, creamer, sugar/sweetener, all bed linens, one set of towels per person, sample size bath products, trash bags, hair dryer, iron, ironing board and private deck. We also have charcoal grills and fire pits for the motel guests to utilize. There is a boat launch onsite and we have extra piers should you bring your own boat.   We enjoyed our stay. Convenient to Hayward area and surrounding towns. Rental was clean and comfortable. The only complaint is tub is very slick and no bars to help get in and out. An ice machine would be nice, since there is an ice bucket in room. Overall, I recommend staying here.

  Stayed in a motel room, it was clean and I appreciated the microwave and mini fridge. There is no housekeeping service during the stay, but that was not an issue for my wife and I. I did need to ask housekeeping for additional coffee, but staff was very friendly and accomodating. Room is dark, but as I was only there to sleep, that worked perfectly.

Even though it was a bit confusing not having on-site check in personnel, when we called the phone number provided, we were assisted immediately on boat launch and docking request.   This was our 3rd yr! We have stayed at the Motel. We get our room, and the girls get their room, and our friends get their rooms. It's a little more private that way. Right on the sandy shores of Little Round Lake with easy access to Round Lake, and restaurants and Hayward WI.A little musty smelling (possibly time to change the carpets) but always clean! Wonderful staff to deal with. We rent jet skis in town, it's always a great stay👍 will be back for summers to come!

  Place was clean and had most of what we needed. However, never saw any staff to be able to ask questions, the AC didn't work for the first couple days and it was a heat wave. We were there to fish and soon discovered NO electrical at the dock for charging, no dock space could be reserved and NO fish cleaning house. Had to go to town daily for ice as there was none available on site. Overall an okay stay but they could do much better for the anglers that come to fish.

  The motel rooms have a 'cabin-y' feel, with private back decks & communal charcoal grills. The other guests were friendly and the area is quiet, with back roads to take long walks, and a winery/pizza/bbq farm right down the road. Motel is just a few steps from the lake itself, and there's a small sand beach for swimming & docks for boats. We found it perfect for our needs!

  Just a standard motel room with a small deck out back. Close to lake but no view from room. The end unit controls a large deck overlooking the lake. No signage to let other guests know and as a result we had the family renting the end unit complain that our grandchildren were on the deck. This family also controlled the fire pit and boat docks and parked wherever they wanted. I think most people would not behave this way, but it can happen. The price on the unit was too high for what you got.

We were required to strip our beds at check out...I'm sure this is not normal procedure but, like I said, we are in a pandeic! I asked if she could pick up some wine and have it in our room when we arrived. She did, along with 2 glasses. Angie was so surprised and very happy. The weather was perfect. We swam in the lake and caught fish off the dock.And had some adult beverages. A much needed vacation with absolutely no complaints.
