Grand Pines Motel includes ten motel rooms, located on Little Round Lake near Hayward, Wisconsin. These newly-remodeled motel rooms are the perfect lodging for everything from romantic getaways to outdoor escapes. Each of our comfortable, Northwood’s inspired rooms include two queen beds, a flat screen TV, a small refrigerator, microwave, a wet sink, a coffee maker, private deck off back, central air and whirlpool jets in the tub. Amenities

One bath with whirlpool jets, mini refrigerator, coffee maker, cable TV, coffee packs (one regular and one decaf, makes 4-cup pot), coffee filters, creamer, sugar/sweetener, all bed linens, one set of towels per person, sample size bath products, trash bags, hair dryer, iron, ironing board and private deck. We also have charcoal grills and fire pits for the motel guests to utilize. There is a boat launch onsite and we have extra piers should you bring your own boat.   The place has a great location! Who wouldn’t want to be on a lake even in the winter! The room was ok! It felt like a cabin up north which was great! Eco friendly also. However, BRING your own pillow, cause smelling old sweat from many heads was kinda gross, and bring a blanket! All it was was sheets and the comforter, and you only take the bed sheets off!!
  Other than that it was great like I said! Cabin feel.
  I’d stay again, just with what I mentioned to bring!

  Clean, warm, great log cabin décor, perfect trail access location, yet still a quiet place in the woods.
  
  Parking was tight with all the other guests also having full sized enclosed trailer rigs but we made it work and space for all.
  
  Being winter could have use a little heaver blankets, but other reviews had mentioned this so brought a couple of our own, beds very comfy.
  
  Only down was the TV remote batts were about dead, left note for cleaning staff and am sure it will be addressed before next guest arrives, being the only complaint, very 1st world problem ish.

  Stayed Monday, 5/16 for 4 nights. Really enjoyed the solitude and beautiful surroundings of Tall Pines and Little Round Lake. No on-site management needed with well written instructions in your unit. The interior knotty pine with large pole beams was impressive. Better yet: the Spring pricing!

  Very clean and basic room. Great location if you are snowmobiling. We knew it was a contactless check in but didn’t expect to have to strip the linens and bag towels. Not a big deal but really isn’t a Vrbo but a motel. Could use additional blankets, one thin one provided with no bedspread. In the winter I’d probably stay somewhere else that has a lodge to hang out in the evening.

  We had a beautiful stay! This place is tucked in away from everything! The view of the water and the trees were beautiful! We didn’t have a reservation we just called by chance and the lady that helped us get our room was very nice and helpful. Clean room! Comfortable beds! Would have loved to stay more than a night.

  We loved our stay and the ability to dock the boat during our time there. The kitchenette was perfect for allowing us to prepare some meals. Everything with regard to payment and check in/out was done virtually and worked well. The location is perfect. Other guests were friendly and observed quiet hours. The motion detector lights in the parking lot were a nice addition for safety and security. The housekeeping staff were friendly and took time to share info about the area. Overall very affordable stay with a picture perfect view. Be sure to check out the Tamarack Farms winery for BBQ, pizza, wine and great hospitality just down the street . We will be back again!

  Great place for a long weekend. Amenties include microwave, fridge, Mini sink, Kitchen cabinet, Coffee pot so you can stay in and somewhat cook. Huge beautiful bathtub with jets. I want one of these in my home. It's at least 5 feet long. Need to get an Ice machine on site and it would be a total 5 Star. Water is right down the walk way. Perfect. Would definitely stay again.

  We had a great time! I rented two rooms one for my daughter and her boyfriend and one for myself and husband. We have stayed previously and loved the location and room. The only problem this time is a pontoon boat was not available (we did rent one from the marina) because they were booked full, also it would be nice to have more than one fire pit the same people monopolized it the whole weekend. Other than that it was great. We are also renting a cabin from Grand Pines this year and look forward to staying again soon. The people at Grand Pines are always very helpful and polite. They make me excited to start my vacation. We enjoyed the Angler for fish fry on Friday night and Coops for pizza on Saturday. Both very good. We had plans to eat at the motel but got rained out. We would recommend this site for anyone looking for a great escape. Lake included!!! Great fishing!

  We had a great stay once we found the motel. We had to ask at a gas station and a women who used to work for Grand Pines happened to be in the gas station and told us how to get there. We get to the motel and the door is locked and no one around to give us a key. I was in tears, our grandkids were upset, and it was cold and raining. We finally saw somebody walking and asked where the office was located. They said that they had sent us an email giving directions but either we didn't get it or we had already left on our trip.
