Grand Pines Motel includes ten motel rooms, located on Little Round Lake near Hayward, Wisconsin. These newly-remodeled motel rooms are the perfect lodging for everything from romantic getaways to outdoor escapes. Each of our comfortable, Northwood’s inspired rooms include two queen beds, a flat screen TV, a small refrigerator, microwave, a wet sink, a coffee maker, private deck off back, central air and whirlpool jets in the tub. Amenities

One bath with whirlpool jets, mini refrigerator, coffee maker, cable TV, coffee packs (one regular and one decaf, makes 4-cup pot), coffee filters, creamer, sugar/sweetener, all bed linens, one set of towels per person, sample size bath products, trash bags, hair dryer, iron, ironing board and private deck. We also have charcoal grills and fire pits for the motel guests to utilize. There is a boat launch onsite and we have extra piers should you bring your own boat.   Our children are 2, 6, 8, and 10. We specifically chose the motel for the 1/2 day ice fishing experience. We are glad we brought ice cleats so we could easily navigate walking. Our oldest caught several fish as did my husband, and I even caught one. Our 6 and 8 year old nearly caught one each, but they got away right before they were reeled out through the ice. Our guide, Noah, even carted us back to the motel a couple of times so the children could go to the restroom! We were a bit nervous taking our 2 years old ice fishing, but we ended up having a great time! The motel rooms themselves were clean and nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable.

  We had a family gathering in Minong & Hayward was a terrific location to stay & explore. We enjoyed our stay at the Grand Pines Resort. We were able to sit out on the dock & see the beautiful water view of Little Round Lake. It’s very peaceful & calming. Our room was very clean & large.   It was nice but our room had a mildew odor. The playground was not well kept and you couldn’t even go down the slide it had mud and water that was stuck on the bottom of the actual slide. It was also a little annoying to pick up our own linens but we didn’t mind doing it as the cleaning staff was very friendly. Beach was clean and easily swimable for our family.

  This is our third year coming to the Grand Pines. Our whole extended family comes and we do Christmas in July. We have most of the strip between all of us and the caretakers are wonderful ! The beach and grounds are perfect, and the fishing off the dock is amazing for the kids. It's super clean and we love it here. Close enough to Hayward and all the activities to run into town. Nice and peaceful. The caretakers make it perfect for us each stay and it's child friendly.
