Grand Pines Motel includes ten motel rooms, located on Little Round Lake near Hayward, Wisconsin. These newly-remodeled motel rooms are the perfect lodging for everything from romantic getaways to outdoor escapes. Each of our comfortable, Northwood’s inspired rooms include two queen beds, a flat screen TV, a small refrigerator, microwave, a wet sink, a coffee maker, private deck off back, central air and whirlpool jets in the tub. Amenities

One bath with whirlpool jets, mini refrigerator, coffee maker, cable TV, coffee packs (one regular and one decaf, makes 4-cup pot), coffee filters, creamer, sugar/sweetener, all bed linens, one set of towels per person, sample size bath products, trash bags, hair dryer, iron, ironing board and private deck. We also have charcoal grills and fire pits for the motel guests to utilize. There is a boat launch onsite and we have extra piers should you bring your own boat.   Love the setting and location! The motel is right on Little Round Lake,with boat docks and chairs where you can sit and chill out.There are several fire pits, some are dedicated to the cabins for rent there.I'm not sure about the motel,but the cabins were built by Dave of Famous Dave's BBQ.All the motel rooms have a private deck out back.The rooms have 2 queen beds, large bathroom (at least ours was), mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot(small)and sink. They have canoes and kyaks for rent there.They were comfortable enough, but could use some updating. A full length mirror would be nice, and a new mattress wouldn't hurt.There were some issues with their covid rulles: I had asked if we needed to bring our own sheets,towels etc and they said no, but I should've anyway, as they had 1 sheet and 1 thin blanket on the beds. No bedspread. They aren't offering maid service until after you're gone. Which was ok with us, but we ran out of coffee, creamer and sugar and no one to ask for more.What used to be the office/lodge was closed for covid. We had a phone number, but it seemed silly to call just for that.We were there 5 nights. At the end of our stay, we were directed by a flyer in our room to strip the bed and put all linens in a large laundry bag and leave it in a box near the closed office. When my husband took the bags down to the box, he discovered extra supplies in it, like toilet paper and coffee. They should've had a notice about that in the room! But now we know, and it won't prevent us from staying again next year! It was contactless check in/out; the key was left in the unlocked room to check in, and a drop box to drop the key in when checked out.There was also supposed to be firewood for purchase but the container was empty.Not a problem as there is wood for sale everywhere.

  Rooms were clean and nicer than your typical "motel" They sent a text and the check in/out process was very easy. I asked a few questions and they answered my texts very quickly. The beds were ok (pillows did kinda suck). Might be nice to have more towels and an extra blanket. We used the fire pit and luckily I asked ahead of time if we needed to bring our own firewood (we did). Best part not mentioned is the tub is large enough for 2 people so perfect for romantic weekend. The deck is cute but we did not use as it was cold and needed to be swept off. Yes, it was fall but you could tell leaves had not ben cleared for weeks. Price was great and we want to go back this summer.

  This was a last minute stay and we were not expecting much for that reason. We were pleasantly surprised and would definitely stay here again! The owners were very accommodating and checking in was a breeze. Around the corner is a winery which was an added bonus. Very quaint, clean and quiet. Rooms were good size and the sheets were wonderful. I am very particular on sheets and these definitely were up to my standards. Bathroom was clean and the tub was enormous. Would be perfect for families with little ones. The lake was nice and the property was clean and well kept.

  We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Everyone from the housekeeping staff to rental office were very friendly and helpful. Only a couple areas that could use improvement. The units are very dark. Better lighting or an overhead light would be great. The chairs by the fire pit need to be replaced and buy real Adirondack chairs not the cheap plastic stuff. We were disappointed that there wasn’t a canoe because there’s one shown in the pictures. The deck on our unit was covered in moss and faced the woods. I thought it would face the water but none of them do. It’s a great location. We fished from the dock, used the fire pit and rented kayaks which the office dropped off at our unit. Great service!
