Grand Pines Motel includes ten motel rooms, located on Little Round Lake near Hayward, Wisconsin. These newly-remodeled motel rooms are the perfect lodging for everything from romantic getaways to outdoor escapes. Each of our comfortable, Northwood’s inspired rooms include two queen beds, a flat screen TV, a small refrigerator, microwave, a wet sink, a coffee maker, private deck off back, central air and whirlpool jets in the tub.

Bed linens and one set of towels per person are provided with each motel room. Actual room assignment will be made at check-in.

Amenities

One bath with whirlpool jets, mini refrigerator, coffee maker, cable TV, coffee packs (one regular and one decaf, makes 4-cup pot), coffee filters, creamer, sugar/sweetener, all bed linens, one set of towels per person, sample size bath products, trash bags, hair dryer, iron, ironing board and private deck. We also have charcoal grills and fire pits for the motel guests to utilize. There is a boat launch onsite and we have extra piers should you bring your own boat. We also have pontoon boats available for rent, see information under Rentals.

  We enjoyed Cabin #28, and hotel room #49 on our 3 day stay. The facilities were clean and orderly. There was no firewood available, no extra blow up mattress or bed avail for the cabin but did eventually get rollaway delivered. the pontoon for #28 is in rough shape. nothing works on radio, no depth finder, rips in the seats, the canopy is ripped. Needs to be replaced.

  We arrived earlier than expected. Ladies getting room ready were very welcoming. After explaining we didn't know the area they took the time to help us out. Room was very clean. The next day we were asked if we needed anything. Again they took time out of their work day to help us out again with places to eat and good walking areas.   Grand Pines Motel is in a great location - a short drive from Hayward and a close jaunt to restaurants and shops. While the lake is not visible from the motel room, it is a short walk where you can relax and enjoy the water.

  The motel rooms are super cute with a great private deck for each and a shared bonfire area by the lake. Right next to a winery and fun bar/restaurant. Was disappointed that they wound't rent pontoons to motel guests. My one major compliant is that the beds/pillows/bedding were uncomfortable. Two flat pillows per bed and the top blanket was more like a 2nd sheet. I would stay again, but I'm bringing my own blankets/pillows.

  Beautiful motel area. It was unfortunately chillier than we expected it to be in September so would love to go back in the Summer to utilize the docks/water/back patio more! Perfect spot right near water access without it being too crowded of a spot. Clean rooms. Jacuzzi tub could use a little upgrade but still a nice touch. Would definitely come back in the summer.

  My wife and I needed a place for a midweek stay in June to be near some family members who were staying elsewhere in a nearby sold-out resort. The Grand Pines motel worked out perfectly for us.
  
  The interior of our room was well-maintained and clean. Beds were comfortable enough to get a good sleep each night. The walls between units seem thin because we could hear the guests on both sides, but fortunately they were quiet at night and this issue was a non-factor.
  
  Our only criticism regards the exterior cleanliness. There were at least dozens of dead small bugs on the exterior approach to the room including the door threshold. When opening the door, some of them would get sucked into the room from the small current created by opening the door to the inside of the room. At the rear of each room, there is a nice wooden deck with chairs overlooking a wooded area. However, this area was very unappealing because of fallen debris from the trees and large spiderwebs. It is obvious that the exterior had been ignored by motel staff for at least several days. Had it not been for these exterior issues, our stay would have been perfect.

  A group fishing trip brought 5 of us to Grand Pines Resort and we occupied two motel rooms. My fishing partners all commented on what a nice place it was, how clean the grounds and rooms were and how convenient it was to have a boat launch and docks on site. I knew all that as I was a Repeat Visitor and will be staying at the Grand Pines Motel in another two weeks for another fishing trip. Whether you fish Round Lake or another area lake you will not be disappointed.
