Cabin 40 the Northwoods Suite

Spacious Northwoods suite perfect for groups of fishermen, golf groups, ladies getaway, families and groups looking for two stories of lodging with room to spread out! Pontoon Included with rental.

Overlooking the sandy beach on of Little Round Lake, this suite features a large deck, 2 kitchens, multiple TVs, air-conditioning, WiFi, 2 bathrooms, 9 beds, gas grill, comfortable lounge area and gathering areas.
Upstairs has 4 bedrooms with 9 beds, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, lounge area, dining/card table and full bath.

The ground floor of the suite offers plenty of room for your group to spread out and enjoy your get together. There’s a second kitchen, living room with Cable TV, large dining table, 2 bathrooms and walkout access to the large lakeside deck with picnic tables.

This spacious motel suite is a fun, roomy option for your group getaway to Hayward!
Cabin 40 has a cleaning fee of $250 added to each rental.

*We have been working with the Department of Health and have new cleaning standards and procedures for all our Beds. On each bed we will provide a fitted sheet, you will need to bring your own blankets, pillows, and towels.

  We had a great time in Cabin 40. With 4 young children in our group the large, open lower level provided a great place for them to play in the evening and while it was raining. The cabin is in a great location, just a short drive from Hayward and close to several bars/restaurants that are accessible by boat/vehicle. The cabin was clean and comfortable with plenty of space. Can't wait to stay again!

  Overall, a nice place to stay. The boys made use of the ping pong table and ice machine. Beds could have been a bit more comfortable but not terrible. Next time we plan to prepare a meal and make use of the grill and kitchen facilities.

  Our local snowmobile club from Osceola WI stayed at the Grand Pines Motel & Cabins for our annual snowmobile group outing. We had 43 members participate in the trip. We used the common areas in Cabin 40 as our home base. We had catered food one night, and other activities other nights. This is our second year using Grand Pines as our destination and we're planning to use them again next year. Hayward area trails were good, even though the weather early in the week was rainy and the groomers were pulled off the trails. Once the groomers got back on the trails, we were able to head in many different directions out of the motel with good trail conditions. Mandi and Mike were great hosts and did everything they could to make our stay fun and easy. An easy 5 star stay!

  I can honestly say this is the best place to go with family! This place was very relaxing! We enjoyed every moment there and the scenery there is absolutely beautiful! Our Cabin was in a great spot and was very clean! Loved that we had a pontoon with our package, we definitely enjoyed going in the lake to ride. We also had an area where we could enjoy campfire to make s’mores! . Will continue going with my family to escape everyday life hassle. Definitely a place worth visiting!

  We rented cabin 40 on the end of the grand pines motel. It was great! Had plenty of room for everyone and a place people can hangout and play games downstairs. The cabin looks out over the lake and you have your own fire pit. Everything was very clean. One thing that happened was people from the motel thought that some of the things meant for our cabin were for everyone at the motel so we didn't get to use our fire ring the first night. The downstairs did smell a little funny but nothing overly bad.
  Other than those little things, it was a great place to stay! Would recommend.

  This is a nice place to stay with a large family. Don't think you can sleep 15 like suggested. Several additional updates would make it PERFECT. All sleeping areas get pounded by 5am east sun making it impossible to sleep in. ADD room darkener curtains!the broken blinds don't help! NO LAUNDRY / DRYING. ADD Washer and Dryer! No Floor Mats/floor towel in bathrooms.

  We love being on Little Round with access to Round Lake and close to other attractions in the area. Our family likes the Wisconsin summer and time on the water so we enjoy the options for beach, swimming, kayaking, fishing, pontooning and more. Having the Suite gives us the extra room for rainy days, time out of the sun or mosquito nights, while the motel rooms give families the ability to have flexible dates with in the week or privacy separation as needed.

  The facilities were wonderful for our family reunion. Of particular surprise and delight was the quality of the mattresses. They were very comfortable foam mattresses and I could not feel my partner toss and turn at all. It would be great if they provided some board games/puzzles and family DVDs for the rainy days.

  We had 75 people 17 children 58 adults for our 3 year family reunion. We rented out Northwood Suites to prepare and serve meal and seat people if the weather was bad. The main floor kitchen area was great for storing and serving from and there was a kitchen upstairs for backup. Mandi got us enough tables and chairs for the whole group and they fit nicely downstairs with a couple of serving tables. It was wonderful. We also rented the whole motel connected to Northwood and 6 large cabins.
  Cabin 29 does have a broken sofa bed pullout upstairs — and I think there
  could’ve been more towels provided —— otherwise location was beautiful,
  Kids are loved the play area and lake, Mandi was awesome setting up everything and responded immediately to questions.... couldn’t have been better. Definitely one of the best settings we’ve had in the 30 years we’ve been gathering.
